EMANUEL SANTOS
Senior Architect & Co-Manager
Born in Mindelo, Cape Verde, 1968.
In 1986 begins his path as a scholarship student at the Faculty of Architecture – University of Oporto, moving to Lisbon in 1988 to the Technical Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon, and finishing his degree in 1993.
Emanuel has collaborated whit other architecture firms as Manuela Fontes (1989 to 1991), António Janeiro & António Araújo (1990 to 1992) and JSJ – Consultoria e Projetos de Engenharia, Lda (1993 to 2012).
In 2004, along with Raquel Pacheco, creates the PACHECOSANTOS arquitectos atelier, bringing form to a collaboration between the two since 1998.
RAQUEL PACHECO
Senior Architect & Co-Manager
Born in Maputo, Mozambique in 1971.
Joins the Agostinho Neto Faculty of Luanda in 1989, in the Architecture degree, moving to the Technical Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon in 1990. Collaborated whit several architecture firms since 1994, finishing her degree in 1996.
Collaboration whit Tomás Taveira (1996 to 1998), Regino Cruz (1998 to 2001) and Jorge Lopes (1998 to 2006).
In 2004, along with Emanuel Santos, creates the PACHECOSANTOS arquitectos atelier, bringing form to a collaboration between the two since 1998.
MARIA INÊS NUNES COELHO
Junior Architect
Born in Lisbon, in 1996. Joined the Faculdade Lusíada de Lisboa in 2014, in the Architecture course.
Collaborated in several projects in the area of architecture while a student – conferences, student centers, exhibitions, etc.
In 2017 she joined the RA+TR architecture studio and in 2019 she finishes her studies with the defense of her dissertation with the theme “The reflection of smart cities in the construction of urban spaces”.
In 2023 she joins the team at PACHECO SANTOS arquitectos, as a junior architect.
MARGARIDA GODINHO ROCHA
Junior Architect
Born in Almada, in 1997. Joined the Faculdade Lusíada de Lisboa in 2015, in the Architecture course.
Collaborated in several projects in the area of architecture while a student – student centers, exhibitions, etc.
In 2021 joins the team of PACHECO SANTOS arquitectos and in 2022 concludes the studies with the defense of the dissertation with the theme “Masterplan for a humanized fragment of Algés: theoretical-practical investigation”.
In 2023 she completes her internship and remains in the team, now as a junior architect.
